Tokyo-based Aikido group headed by Kondo Katsunosuke and Kansai area-based one headed by Mori Hakaru presented Daito-ryu Aiki Jujutsu. Chief of Headquarters Kondo succeeded to Takeda Tokimune, a child of Founder Takeda Sokaku. Out of 118 basic techniques, three techniques, Idori, Tachiai, and Hanza-Hanmi were demonstrated. In prior to learning Aiki technique, practicing Jujutsu at the fullest extent possible is required. In its demonstration, Jujutsu technique in that joint techniques be mastered, and techniques of throwing and immobilizing the opponent was presented in the first place. Performing Taninsu-dori, grabbing attacks against multiple attackers drew a large attention of the audience.

Mori Hakaru, head of Daitoryu Takuma-kai, suceeded to Hisa Takuma. The latter recorded all teachings of Takeda Sokaku and compiled gDaito-ryu Aiki Budo Soden 11 Volumes.h Based on this textbook, Takumakai members practice 2,884 techniques. Focusing on the joint techniques, immobilization techniques are mainly passed down. Balance breaking techniques against the opponent who just touches arm or shoulder was performed.
